The Giant Women present The Greatest Show in Town is a dance performance which promises to be entertaining, virtuosic, and sharp, through beauty, emotion, etcetera. And of course, you will obviously see the socio-political engagement and the theoretical background of the dancers. Naturally, these aspects will interact with you, provoke you, and shock you. Whilst showing you the crucial power of innovation and blindly following trends, the show achieves historical significance and promises the creation of new paradigms for the dance scene of the future.

This project is instigated by Dragana Bulut (Serbia) in collaboration with Gillie Kleiman (England) and Lígia Soares (Portugal) with the dramaturgy support of Ana Vujanović. The work started through the encounter of the three artists during the danceWEB scholarship program in Vienna in 2008. The work was continued in Berlin where the first phase of development was shown in Tanzfabrik-Berlin.

The Giant Women are part of ,,Embassy  of", an umbrella organisation of dance artists from over 30 countries.

A round table and discussion with the authors will be held on 22 February at 3pm, in Magacin in Kraljevića Marka no 4. The event is open to all.

The round table is organised within the Forum for Performing Arts Criticism, by TkH platform.
