Ovogodišnja selekcija Bitefa fokusirala se na fenomen manipulacije pojmom tragičnog u savremenom svetu. Posle mnoštva odgledanih predstava, našem festivalu se nametnuo zaključak koji se postepeno pretvorio uovogodišnji slogan a koji, ukratko, glasi da tragičnost današnjeg sveta u pozorišnoj obradi gotovo uvek postaje tragikomedija.

Tema ovogodisnjeg festivala je: Nepostojano / Nepokorno. Festival nema samo izvođački nego, također, interdisciplinarni i edukacijski karakter. Tako u popratnom programu priređujemo izložbe, predavanja, projekcije, promocije knjiga i časopisa…

Festival SUSRETI se realizuje tokom 2008. godine. U julu se igraju predstave teatra iz Nemačke Theaterlabor Im TOR 6 i Plavog pozorišta iz Beograda. Dolazak pozorišta Specchi e memorie i igranje njihove nove predstave Relativni apsolut kao i radionica Teatra Zar koja će se baviti korišćenjem glasa u pozorištu kroz oblike polifinog pevanja realizovaće se na jesen 2008.

Danas nam se, više nego ikad, čini da je fenomen melankolije sveprisutan i odlučujući. Mnogostruki su i brojni gubitci u našem vremenu: raspad socijalističkih projekata, društva kao cjeline, kao projekta, nestanak rada i klase, gubitak održive alternative političkoj ekonomiji kapitalizma...

The 5th BDP will be an opportunity for choreographers and dancers from Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Albania and Montenegro to present thier work to a great number of international visitors (directors, producers, curators).

POLYFORME organizes a video performance festival - Marseille / November 2009. All videos from all artists are accepted, and the "winner" will have the opportunity to have an exhibition in Marseille during the next year.

MIRfestival is an international contemporary art festival, focusing on the experiment at the crossroads of performing arts and visual new media. Named after the old orbital station, it aims to become a place where exciting art is being shown by Greek and International artists with a personal view of the world.

Teatarfest is an international meeting point of theater groups which have a special way to form their theatre expressions. Teatarfest's aims are: - creative and alternative projects, research the directing, performing, speech, movements, costumes, music and other important elements of theatre expressions; - projects which research new spaces and media.

DISKURS considers itself as a platform for exchange, networking and artistic research. There will be a laboratory for artist collaboration; an internet radio will work towards DISKURS and accompany it during the festival. A retrospective will look back on previous DISKURS festivals. Yet again, the 25th DISKURS wants to trace and bring together new tendencies in the fields of performance, theatre, dance, music and installation.

Newcomer talents and contemporary choreographers and dancers from all over the world are requested to apply for the competition with a new, original, imaginative and unique solo piece, a piece which displays unusual achievement. The solo must be presented either as a premiere or must have been performed on stage only during the previous 12 months.

BDP 2009 will present the latest production of BADco (Croatia), Rosana Hribar & Gregor Luštek (Slovenia), Madalina Dan (Romania), Dragana Bulut, Gillie Kleiman & Lígia Soares (Serbia), Griffon dance co. (Greece), Kinesthetic Project (Bulgaria) and Aleksandar Georgiev (Macedonia).

This is the second edition of the LocoMotion contemporary dance festival that, this year as well, aims to present an overview of the current discourses and practices in the field of contemporary dance, here and throughout the world. In five festival evenings, the audience will have opportunity to see and communicate with different dance creations, film projection and music concert.

POOL is a recurring format for dance- and animation film. Aiming for becoming a platform for dancer, choreographers, directors, artists, organizers and other interested people, POOL offers space for exchange of experiences, developing and advanced training, and presentation.

Crime, sexuality and gender are issues that we would like to explore within the frames of our festival. We are interested in wider definitions of crime (in relation to sexuality and gender) which would go beyond the regular time / geography frame as well as beyond concentration solely on the victims – whose destinies leave them displaced, murdered, raped, tortured, killed.

Mednarodni Festival NagiB, ki bo v letu 2010 potekal med 15. in 18. septembrom v Mariboru že šesto leto zapored, vabi k sodelovanju avtorice in avtorje s področja sodobnega plesa in performansa, ki želijo svoje delo predstaviti na festivalu, spoznati nove avtorje, avtorice, se družiti, izmenjevati izkušnje ter nenazadnje vzpostaviti prostor za nadaljnje sodelovanje.

Poziv umjetnicima na sudjelovanje u velikoj akciji suvremene umjetnosti u Zagrebu. Ovom akcijom započinjemo dvogodišnji ciklus unutar kojega ćemo preispitati pozicije suvremene umjetnosti u Hrvatskoj kao točki nemira ili zaborava. Za 2008. godinu odabrali smo cluster najrazličitijih prostora i situacija na području od Kvaternikova trga do stadiona Maksimir.

The 090909 Upstage Festival aims to create a participatory space for collaboration, creation, and for the presentation of current cyberformance. The festival provides a platform (and shares the technichal expertise) to enable artists to experiment with the new medium, and to have their work seen alongside performances by internationally renowned practitioners - in a celebration of the evolution and diversity of cyberformance practices.

Festival PERFORACIJE – TJEDAN IZVEDBENIH UMJETNOSTI Dubrovnik – Zagreb, 25. – 30. 9. 2009. Rok za prijave je 26. 6. 2009. Cilj Perforacija je iniciranje novih produkcija, poboljšanje prezentacijskih uvjeta te jačanje veza na nezavisnoj kulturnoj sceni.

Festival Novih vizuelnih tendencija svake godine donosi izbor video radova koji na različite načine unapređuju savremeni vizuelni izraz u svim disciplinama – od filma preko video arta pa do video zapisa performansa. Iako otvoren i za široku publiku festival je pre svega namenjen profesionalcima iz oblasti vizuelnih I izvođačkih umetnosti.
