Artists, designers and theoreticians are invited to submit proposals for individual or collective research projects for a one-year, two-year or variable research period in the department of Design.

This year make art focuses on the OpenOS: artistic, free, creative use of the Operating System, hackability and modularity of FLOSS and GNU/Linux, scripts as digital glue between applications, enhanced possibilities for the technical expression of ideas, user empowerment and artistic freedom.

This dynamic website explores the aesthetic and historical conditions of digital media’s exciting multifaceted dialog. Profuse and imaginative illustrations, wikis, chronologies, and multimedia examples are an engaging aid to designers, artists and humanists.

Radionica predstavlja trodnevni pregled Pure Data i GEM, kolekcije slobodnog i open source softvera, koji su dostupni za Linux, Mac OSX i Windows. Ovi programi omogućavaju sintetizaciju i manipulaciju slike, zvuka i podataka u realnom vremenu. Učesnici će imati priliku da tokom radionice savladaju osnovnu „gramatiku“ i „rečnik“ Pure Data softvera, kao i rad sa 3D objektima, videom i zvukom.
