Choresound 09 is a forum and artistic lab that focuses on the process of composing contemporary dance and music. It is a week designed to explore and develop the collaboration between choreographers and composers /music and dance, and to expand the knowledge and experience on related issues. There will be five composers, five choreographers, 10 dancers, and 10 musicians participating. Two mentors will follow the process during the week which inlcudes seminars given by experienced choreographers/composers, labs, working sessions, dance concerts, and a lot more.
As professional musician or dancer working with contemporary dance or music, you can participate during the week.
Attending the lab is free of charge and includes accomodation, local transportation, breakfast and lunch. Participants will be selected by the Choreosound 09 reference group.
